When and where is the awards ceremony?
This years awards ceremony is being held in the Warrant Officer & Sergeants Mess at Dering Lines Barracks in Brecon, LD3 7RA on Fri 4th October. It is a Black Tie Dinner, guests will enjoy a 3 course meal before the awards ceremony.
Can I park somewhere?
Yes there is parking available at the venue however please register your vehicle registration number with organisers 7 days prior to the event. Parking permits will be issued on the gate upon arrival.
Can I leave my car overnight?
Cars may be left over night but will need to be collected on Sat 5th October. Parking permits will be issued on the gate upon arrival.
What is the menu on the night?
Starters - Salmon Terrine
Served with beetroot cured salmon & fennel remoulade & Melba crisp.
Vegetarian - Slow roasted Celeriac & Walnut Pate
Served with
Dill pickle & Garlic Crostini
Mains - Tasting of Pork
Pork Loin, Pork Belly and faggot
Served with
Mustard Mash, White onion puree & Cabbage
Vegetarian - Chargrilled Portobello Steak, Deep Fried Oyster Mushroom in a Caper Tempura and Bearveganiaise
Dessert - Salted chocolate caramel tart, served with honeycomb ice cream.

I am a vegetarian will I be catered for?
Any special dietary requirements can be met however please ensure you contact the organisers to advise of any allergies or dietary requirements in advance by emailing requirements to info@mwmg.org
Does the bar take card payments?
No! It is a cash only bar and there is no ATM at the venue so please come with cash ready!
What time does the event start/ finish?
Please arrive for a 6.45pm drinks reception, with the event starting at 7.15pm. The awards ceremony is scheduled to end at 11.30pm, with carriages at 1.00am.
