Finalists revealed for 2019 competition
Businesses from across the breadth of Powys are represented in the county’s premier business awards. The highly popular competition sees 28 businesses shortlisted for 12 different award categories in this year’s Powys Business Awards.
Host announced for county’s prestigious business awards evening
The host for the Powys Business Awards ceremony, which will be held in October, has been announced by organisers Mid Wales Manufacturing Group. ITV’s Coast & Country TV presenter Andrew Price is considered one of the UK’s leading authorities on the subject of Bushcraft and Wilderness living.

Businesses in Powys are being urged not to delay to ensure their entries into the 2019 Powys Business Awards competition. The deadline for entries is Friday 12th July with applications able to be submitted online or via post.

The 2019 Powys Business Awards competition launched today at County Hall in Llandridndo Wells, sponsors, past finalists and judges were all in attendance to hear the unveiling of the categories for the 2019 competition.

Host Announced for County’s Prestigious Business Awards Evening
The host for the Powys Business Awards ceremony being held on Friday, 28th September has been announced as BBC Wales Today Presenter and former Aberystwyth University student Claire Summers. She has been a familiar face on BBC Wales Today for more than a decade. She was, for many years, a news presenter before becoming the sports presenter on the programme. She has anchored coverage of London Olympics, the Ryder Cup and, most recently, Geraint Thomas's homecoming.
